Education, Unification, Elections

In my last post I told you about The National 912 Project.org(aka N912P) I have continued to attend on-line meetings with other members and leaders of this group throughout the month of July. I have also communicated one on one with some of the leaders by email and phone. I want to share some of the things I have learned this past month.

This group has a PLAN and is focused on carrying out that plan. The plan has 3 prongs:

  • Education – before we can be effective in standing for our principles and values we must know what those principles and values are and why we believe them. To get ourselves well-grounded we are working hard at studying the principles on which the US Constitution was based. These principles came from our wise forefathers who were well-educated, thoughtful men. The N912P website has a list of recommended reading. I, personally, am attending a small study group once a week where we are currently studying the book The 5000 Year Leap, an awesome book about the reasoning behind the constitution. I would highly recommend reading that book. There are also free webinars available through the National Center for Constitutional Studies(NCCS). I have been taking the Making of America series of lessons. You need to register for these webinars and will need to have speakers to be able to hear the instructor, Prof. Earl Taylor, an excellent teacher.
  • Unification – “a house divided against itself cannot stand”  We need to unite and speak with one voice if we hope to accomplish the lofty goal of taking back our country. We do that by joining together on the principles and values we agree on and as “iron sharpens iron” we teach, encourage, and inspire each other. We celebrate the freedoms we still enjoy. Toward that goal, there are plans to have Liberty Parties in communities all over the USA during the month of September. The Liberty Party will consist of get-togethers in parks or other public places, cook-outs, and fun for the entire family. We won’t be protesting or carrying signs. There will probably be some speakers, maybe some music, games, etc. It will be a CELEBRATION of our heritage. One event that is being encouraged is the planting of a Liberty Tree in each community (with proper permission from the city if on public property). Here is some history about the Liberty Tree from Wikipedia:

The Liberty Tree (1646–1775) was a famous elm tree that stood in Boston, near Boston Common, in the days before the American Revolution. The tree was a rallying point for the growing resistance to the rule of England over the American colonies. In the years that followed, almost every American town had its own Liberty Tree—a living symbol of popular support for individual liberty and resistance to tyranny. Read more about this here >>>

  • Elections – This is important if we are ever going to overcome the progressive movement in this country. We need to elect people who are committed to the 9 Principles & 12 Values. How do we do that? We at N912P have a plan to start placing 912ers in local positions, such as on the city council, school board, etc. From there, we will get 912ers elected at the county and state level before moving on to the federal level. This will be a grass roots effort, literally, from the bottom up. We can get our towns and cities back first. Once we do that we will easily move into positions at the county and state level. When we have the state back, the federal govt will have very little power over us.

There is much work to be done but there are lots of people engaged in this effort. We are preparing for victory in our fight to return to the US Constitution and to the principles upon which it was founded. If you believe in the 9 principles and 12 values, you may join us in this fight at The National 912 Project.org . One person can’t do everything but each person can do something.

Let freedom ring!
